Tasting notes
- Colour: Shades of pale onion skin, with hints of light salmon pink. Crystal clear wine with plenty of legs, indicating that it is full-bodied (glycerol).
- Nose: At first, there are toasted notes, and surprising hints of vanilla. Despite its subtle side, the nose is smooth and after pouring there is a delicate gentle spiciness, and ripe peach aromas on the second nose.
- Palate: Clean and upfront, with excellent structure and plenty of body. The finish is fresh and slightly acidic but not overly so. A delicious rosé to accompany Provençal food.
- Match with: This wine would go superbly with crispy pan-fried red mullet with confit tomatoes and plenty of fresh herbs, thin crackers with black olive tapenade or a salmon and wild bream tartare with crispy fennel, a vinaigrette with citrus juices and rocket.
