Red Château d’Estoublon • 2022

A wine with a purplish red color. The nose is charming, blending notes of licorice, cedar, undergrowth, and sweet spices such as cloves. On the palate, aromas of red fruits such as blackberry are revealed, along with spicy notes from the Mourvèdre grape. The tannins are fine and silky. It reveals a noble and discreet woodiness, ensuring perfect balance.

Syrah, Mourvèdre, Grenache noir.

Clay-limestone and sandy-loam soils, gravelly.

Hand-picked grapes, sorted in the vineyard and in the cellar. Aged for 12 months partly in oak barrels, natural concrete eggs, and stainless steel vats.

Spring 2022 was sunny with some rain, which encouraged beautiful flowering in May.
The summer was hot and dry, but luckily, in August, some welcome rain allowed the berries to retain their quality and freshness. In September, the grapes were harvested at optimal ripeness to preserve all the aromas and characteristics of each grape variety.
The wines of this vintage are characterized by their elegance and delicacy, and the winemaking process was designed to preserve this vintage effect.

Drink now or keep for 8 to 10 years.
