White Château d’Estoublon • 2022

The nose is expressive, dominated by aromas of summer fruits such as white peach and apricot. It reveals subtle floral notes of vine blossom and hints of sweet spices such as vanilla. The attack is clean and mineral.

On the palate, the wine is distinguished by its marked tension and beautiful freshness. The long, lively finish is supported by fine, noble bitterness that harmoniously balances the acidity.

Grenache Blanc, Roussane, Marsanne, Rolle

Deep soils, clay-limestone.

Hand-picked grapes. Rigorous sorting upon arrival followed by direct cold pressing with juice separation. Half fermented in 400 L barrels and concrete eggs, the other half in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. No malolactic fermentation. Aging: 8 months on fine lees.

12.5% Vol.

Spring 2022 was sunny with some rain, which helped the flowers bloom beautifully in May. Summer was hot and dry, but luckily, in August, some much-needed rain helped the berries keep their quality and freshness. In September, the grapes were harvested at peak ripeness to keep all the aromas and characteristics of each grape variety. The wines of this vintage are characterized by their elegance and delicacy, and the winemaking process was designed to preserve this vintage effect.

Drink now or lay down for 7 to 8 years.
